UniDit waitlist privacy summary
Last updated: 14 March 2026
This page gives a short, readable summary of how the UniDit Exeter waitlist currently uses your personal information. It is the short layer of our privacy information, with the full version linked below.
For the detailed version, read the Full Privacy Notice.
Key points
- Who is responsible: UniDit, operated at this stage by Samuel Moffatt, is responsible for the waitlist.
- What we collect: your first name, Exeter email address, study level, course, graduation year, any optional message you choose to enter, your 18+ confirmation, your consent record, and limited technical/security information such as IP address and user agent.
- What we use it for: running the Exeter beta waitlist, contacting you about beta access and essential waitlist updates, preventing spam or abuse, and keeping basic compliance records.
- Why we can do this: we rely on consent for using your submitted details to manage the waitlist and contact you about it, and on legitimate interests for security, anti-abuse, and limited administration.
- Where it is stored: the website runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, and waitlist entries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. The waitlist database is configured with EU jurisdiction.
- Who can access it: access is kept limited and is mainly restricted to UniDit / Sam Moffatt for waitlist administration.
- How long we keep it: we review waitlist data periodically and aim to delete or anonymise entries when they are no longer needed, normally no later than 12 months after the relevant beta cycle or last meaningful interaction, except where we need limited records for opt-out, security, or legal compliance reasons.
- Your main rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent at any time.
- How to leave the waitlist or ask a privacy question: email sam@unidit.app.
Please keep the form general
If you contact UniDit through the website contact form, your message is sent to us by email using Resend as our email delivery provider.
The current waitlist is not meant to collect sensitive personal data, such as details about sex life or sexual orientation, health, religion, politics, ethnicity, biometric data, or identity documents. Please do not include that kind of information in the free-text box.
This notice covers the current Exeter waitlist only. Before the full UniDit app launches, a broader privacy notice will be needed for app accounts, profiles, matching, messaging, moderation, safety features, and any more sensitive processing.
